abstract

Enforced regulations on permissible levels of noise exposure in all industrial plants can be anticipated in the near future. The Walsh-Healy Public Contracts Act, which specifies safety and health standards for federal supply contracts, is an example of federal legislation that already imposes such regulation on many industries.
