A thorough understanding of the microcirculation may help with the early diagnosis and treatment of many diseases such as diabetes or hypertension (see for example Schmid-Schönbein [1]). In this study, the microcirculation in rat spinotrapezius muscle fascia is investigated using a numerical approach.
