This article describes the conception, implementation and management of the training program in the natural gas division established by Transpetro to prepare its workforce to deal with the increasing operational complexity of the company’s systems while maintaining high levels of safety and ensuring continuous delivery. The main objective of the development of the program was to train field technicians spread all over the country in a short time frame and in standardized form. The results so far have been highly satisfactory.
