abstract

An analytical model is generated that allows the evaluation of the compression system. It is also used to derive general rules for optimizing a system. Several strategies for the compression system (single compressors, multiple compressors with a single driver in series and parallel configuration, multiple compressors with individual drivers) are evaluated based on said model.
