A theoretical analysis performed for a single-effect, water-LiBr absorption heat pump at steady conditions was presented in this paper. This model took into consideration crosscurrent flow of fluids for heat and mass exchangers and thermal parameter dependent physical properties of working fluids. A solar driven absorption heat pump was built and employed to justify this model. Results derived from this model show satisfying agreement with our experimental values.
