abstract

A combustion test facility at the NASA Glenn Research Center is described that has the test-section capability of 60 bars in pressure, 970 K in air temperature, and air flow rate to 23 kg/s. Included in the description are the facility operating map; services such as fuel, cooling air and water; instrumentation for temperature, pressure and flow rate measurements; and gaseous-emissions and laser-measurement capabilities.
